Skype 2.8 for Mac Released
January 6 2009, 9:42pm
Skype 2.8 Beta for Mac has been released and it is superb. A nice quick upgrade and off you go, and with some great new features as you can see above. Of particular note is the screen sharing, which apparently works between Macs and PCs too. This could be very useful for people, but I could not get it working earlier with my folks (of course, there may have been some user issues) I wonder how many people actually use Skype regularly? I love it, and tend to use it for business and personal calls and certainly anything outside the UK. It is a brilliant, elegant solution, and certainly in my top 5 apps used.
