Freedom is a great thing. Especially when you're trying to write a book.

Something useful that a friend (Adam) sent me the other day - a web thing that converts youtube videos to a few different file formats, so you can put them on your ipod or play them on your computer.

It's called vixy.net

(In the interest of geek fairness, I should say at this point that another solution is available, and it's called Tubesock. I've used it a few times and it works well.)
